Automated analysis for drugs in urine.

چکیده
Automated methods are described for extracting drugs from urine and for subsequently detecting them by ultraviolet or visible absorptiometry, or by spectrofluorometry. Standard Technicon AutoAn#{225}lyzer quipment has been adapted for use in the extraction processes; and manifolds for barbiturates, morphine, and bases are described. For drugs extracted from urine, the limits of detection were 2.5 ,g/ml for barbiturates and 0.2 g/ ml fcir morphine, Results are given for processing 204-mI samples of urine per hour for morphine and 10 8-mI samples per hour for barbiturate and basic drug analysis.

Spectrophotometric Multicomponent Analysis of Ternary and Quaternary Drug Mixtures in Human Urine Samples by Analyzing First-order Data
A new method was developed for the spectral resolution by further determination of three- and four-component mixtures of drugs in urine samples through the complementary application of multivariate curve resolution-alternating least squares with correlation constraint. In the current study, a simple method was proposed to construct a calibration set for the mixture of drugs in the p...
متن کاملEvaluation of the Effect of Atenolol Induced Depression in Cardiac Output on Its Own Excretion through Urine Analysis
The role of Pharmacist in making the therapeutic decisions for safe and effective therapy is increasing all over the world. However, there are many aspects of drugs in making these decisions that are less commonly studied such as the correlation of cardiac output with pharmacokinetics of drugs. The cardiac output, besides the other factors, is also affected by drugs like atenolol. Therefore, th...

A simple and efficient homogenous liquid-liquid extraction method performed in a narrow tube combined with dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction method has been presented for the simultaneous determination of two antiepileptic drugs in urine followed by gas chromatography with flame ionization detection. In this method, a mixture of acetonitrile and urine sample (homogenous solution) is load...
